I went to see "Underworld: Awakenings"

I went to see the Kate Bekinsale film "Underworld: Awakenings" today. It's not bad, but I don't think they'll be nominating anyone for an Oscar for it.

In the film, humans have discovered the existence of werewolves and vampires, and have spent the last 12 years trying to exterminate them. They've kept Bekinsale alive, however, because they want to experiment on her given her fondness (as a vampire) for werewolves.

Bekinsale escapes, and protects a human/werewolf/vampire hybrid that the baddies have developed, uncovering the nefarious wrong doing that the baddies get up to at the same time.

It's not bad, as far as this sort of film goes, but if you've seen the previous Underworld films, you've seen most of the elements of this one.

Hi there! (^_^)/
It's good to read reviews on this movie, cuz I still haven't decided to see it or not in the theater or wait for it on DVD.
I have some questions for you and I don't mind if you spoil it for me.
But is that guy Michael in this movie at all? And if he's not, do they mention what happened to him?

He's mentioned, and we see the odd glimpse of him, but we don't see him in a speaking role. They just suggest that he goes through the same thing as Selene, because he's got feelings for a vampire.
