The problem is that it's got 2 huge cities (Hangzhou and Shanghai) within 3hrs drive. Between them, they have 32million inhabitants. The result is that you can fly anywhere in the world from them, and to Hong Kong and Beijing from Ningbo.
Consequently, I hate travelling from Ningbo. Ningbo has nothing of import there, and any flight from there to the west has to go via somewhere else. They never, ever, coordinate the western bound flights with the flights out of Ningbo either, which doubly irritates me. I mean, how hard can that be? That hanging about adds 7hrs of hanging about to any travel plans.
The worst part is that because Ningbo is slap bang on the flight path from Shanghai or Hangzhou to a bunch of places, you always get delayed out of there. That irritates me too.
I know I could go to Hangzhou or Shanghai and get a flight from there, but it's the thought of trying to get back to Ningbo that puts me off. It's just the sort of thing that I'd do wrong, with me finding myself in Outer Mongolia, as a result. So all in all, I'm feeling blah.
