I went to see "The Hills Have Eyes II."

I went to see "The Hills Have Eyes II" today (because one Hills Have Eyes film is never enough is it?), and God strike me down with a feather if that wasn't a bad film. In the first film, the families that wouldn't be evacuated when they did the H-Bomb tests in the 40s and 50s kill people who pass through the area and sell their stuff for food and drinks etc. One family escapes at he end of the film.

In this film, National Guard cadets are sent in to clear the area (presumably the script didn't call them the army so that they didn't have to explain why one or two of them are in worse physical shape than I am) and the killing continues. Trust me why I say that I expected the film to suck. It's 90 minutes of the director saying "Let me show you that the next killing will be grosser than the last," but he carried it off with a certain flair.

It was stupid, but enjoyable at the same time.
