I finished "Every Witch Way But Dead" by Kim Harrison today.

I finished "Every Witch Way But Dead" by Kim Harrison today. It wasn't a bad read. It sees Rachel Morgan, Harrison's main character, find a new boyfriend and attempt to act as bodyguard to a pop star who's being threatened by some new supernatural baddies who have moved into the area.

I'm not sure I was helped by the fact that I'm read book four in the series (Harrison links the book quite heavily), but I don't think I was helped by how I think of the series. I tend to frame them as a detective story (which I like). They aren't really that sort of book, so I'm in two minds as to whether I should continue with the series.
