I went to see "Death Sentence."

I went to see the Kevin Bacon, Kelly Preston film "Death Sentence" yesterday. It sees Bacon watch his son get killed as a gang initiation and then decide he's going to go after the gang that did it. They work out what he's doing and they develop a cycle of violence that escalates beyond Bacon's wildest imaginings.

It wasn't a bad film, the ending was good because it wasn't the standard "trite" Hollywood fayre, but much of the rest of the film is stuff we've seen before (A History of Violence springs to mind, where a similar sort of story was told much better).
