I went to see "Underworld: Awakenings"
He's mentioned, and we see the odd glimpse of him, but we don't see him in a speaking role. They just suggest that he goes through the same thing as Selene, because he's got feelings for a vampire.

It's not bad, as films go, and if you liked the original, you'll probably find things to like in this one, it's just I don't think it's as good as the first movie, as it dragged in places.
