I went to see the Will Smith film "The Pursuit of Happyness" yesterday. It wasn't really all that good.
The film is about a poor traveling salesman (who's family is falling apart) who decides to retrain as a stock broker (an unlikely career move) and the problems he faces on the way.
I really don't mean this to be nasty, but this is the sort of film that was best suited to the Lifestyle channel on basic cable, which is probably where it'll be repeated ad nauseam when it makes it to television.
I saw "Freedom Writers" (a similar sort of film) on Friday and this film pales in comparison.
