I went to see "Catch and Release."

I went to see "Catch and Release" this evening. It starred Jennifer Garner, Juliette Lewis and Kevin Smith (who I assumed directer the film -the film had likenesses to the Ben Afleck Jennifer Lopez film"Jersey Girl"- but he didn't), but it was more of an ensemble film than I expected.

Jennifer Garner played the girlfriend of a guy (we never meet) who died while on his stag party trip. After he dies, she learns more about her partner. It was a good humored, if a little sentimental film (the sort of film you take your girlfriend to show your sensitive side), but I found it a bit depressing. My wife died 5 years ago last December, and I still have problems with it if I'm honest.
