I went to see "Resurecting the Champ."

I went to see "Resurrecting the Champ," which stars Samuel L. Jackson and Josh Hartnett yesterday. Jackson plays a former boxer who is down on his luck and Hartnett plays a reporter who accidentally comes across him on the street. Hartnett writes a report about Jackson, only to find out that it might not be accurate nd might be in trouble with his employers because it looks like he might have made some basic errors.

This film is presented in the previews as a sort of race to find out the truth about Jackson, but in reality it isn't. It's more about the relationship between Hartnett, his wife (who's played by the blonde in Cold Case Squad) and his son, as it contrasts to the life Jackson had.

It isn't a bad film, just not the film I was expecting.
