I went to see "Michael Clayton" yesterday.

I went to see the George Clooney film "Michael Clayton" yesterday. It's about a lawyer (Tom Wilkinson) who has a nervous breakdown when he realizes that he's been defending a muppet of a client for years, and his sidekick (played by Clooney) is asked to step in by the firm to sort things out when client (or employees or problems) go a bit pear-shaped. As Clooney deals with the problems caused by Wilkinson, he goes on a "voyage of Discovery" himself and changes his view on things.

It wasn't a bad film, but I don't think that I don't think it was worthy of all the praise it got in the press. After all I'm inclined to suspect that most people knew what was going to happen and it took a long time to get there.
