It sees three brothers (Wilson, Brody and Jason Shartzman) as 3 brothers who haven't talked since their father's death and reunite to do the whole brother-buddy thing on the way to see their mother (Anjelica Huston) in an Indian Catholic convent, a year after the funeral, to find out why she couldn't be bothered to attend her husband's funeral.
Now I've seen and enjoyed Rushmore and The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou (both are Anderson movies), so when this film came out I thought I'd like to see this film. Big mistake. I didn't like the characters and I didn't think their experiences were particularly funny (or pathos filled), so all in all, blah, I'm not impressed.
