I went to see "Deception."

I went to see the Hugh Jackman, Ewan MacGregor film "Deception" today. It's about a mild mannered accountant (MacGregor) who is befriended by the suave Jackman, and then blackmailed into hiding some money for him.

It's a bad film. Trust me on this. Bad, bad, bad, bad, bad. I can't take Jackman seriously as the debonair baddie. I always half think of him as Wolverine from the X-men movies and the rest of me thinks of him as a song-and-dance man (he's known as a musical actor in England), so seeing him play a "cunning bad man," felt really strange and undermined the movie I think.

In addition, we have to have seen this film 100 times before and I don't think that Jackman or MacGregor are good enough actors to make you forget you've seen it before.
