I went to see "Clash of the Titans" yesterday. It's about Perseus, the half god (half human) son of Zeus who has to defend the Earth when humans decide Zeus isn't worth worshiping any more. Like the original, the Gods are played by "notable British actors" like Ralph Fiennes and Liam Neeson. Unlike the original, a lot of the rest of the cast are English too.
To save the day, Perseus and his team of merry men go and "collect" the Medusa's head and show it to the Kraken in the hope that it will turn the Kraken to stone (and consequently stop wreaking havoc in the area). On the way, they have a number of adventures.
It's not bad. The special effects were pretty good but the story's a bit daft.
