In praise of JFK airport.

It's not often I feel moved to sing the praises of an airport. They're usually the sorts of places that are full of grumpy so-and-sos, over charge for food and drink, smell slightly funky, if I'm honest.

All this having been said, JFK impressed me when I went through it from London yesterday. We landed at 11:15ish. By 11:45 I was getting into a taxi, having passed through customs, passport control and collected our bags. I don't care what anyone says. Thirty minutes from touchdown to taxi is impressive in anyone's book.
